Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to web3copilots.com, the Web3 Copilot browser extension, the interactive product demo and related services operated under the Web3 Copilot name. Public blockchain data is already available on-chain; this policy covers how our products access, organize and display it.
Information we process
Public blockchain information
When an address is analyzed, we may process public wallet or contract addresses and related public data such as balances, transactions, token holdings, protocol positions and network activity.
Supported page context
The extension reads supported Web3 pages to identify EVM addresses and offer relevant actions. It is not designed to collect a complete browsing history or monitor unrelated pages.
Information you submit
We process addresses, report requests and questions you intentionally submit to analysis or contextual AI features.
Local extension data
Watchlists, comparison selections, preferences and saved snapshots may be stored locally in the browser. Local data remains on that device until it is removed through the extension, browser settings or uninstallation.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, error events and request metadata when the website or API is used. This information supports delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Information the extension does not require
Web3 Copilot does not need a seed phrase, private key or wallet signing credential to provide research reports. The extension is not designed to initiate blockchain transactions, move assets or take custody of funds. Never enter a seed phrase or private key into a report, question or support message.
How information is used
- Detect and classify supported wallet and contract addresses.
- Build requested portfolio, DeFi, risk and activity reports.
- Answer questions using the context of the displayed report.
- Maintain local watchlists, comparisons, preferences and snapshots.
- Secure, operate, diagnose and improve the website, extension and API.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to abuse.
Storage and retention
Browser-local information remains until the user clears it or removes the extension. Server-side request data and operational logs are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to deliver features, maintain security, resolve incidents and meet legal obligations. Public blockchain records cannot be changed or deleted by Web3 Copilot.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by our services. No online service is completely secure, and users remain responsible for protecting their browser, device and wallet credentials.
Your choices and rights
Users can remove locally stored extension data through available product or browser controls and can uninstall the extension at any time. Depending on location, a user may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data. Requests can be sent to privacy@web3copilots.com.
Children
The services are not directed to children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Third-party platforms and international processing
The extension may be distributed through the Chrome Web Store and interacts with third-party Web3 websites. Those platforms operate under their own privacy terms. Service providers may process data in countries other than the user's own, subject to applicable safeguards.
